Why merge PDFs?

Is merging PDFs free?

Does merging lower the quality?
No. Pages are not rebuilt but copied as they are, so text, fonts and images stay identical to the originals. The merged file is roughly the size of the files you combined.
How many PDFs can I merge?
There is no limit set by us; you can merge dozens of files and hundreds of pages in one go.
Can I add JPG or PNG images too?
This page merges PDF files only. Turn images into PDFs first on the JPG to PDF or PNG to PDF page, then merge them here with your other PDFs.
Can I merge encrypted PDFs?
PDFs that ask for a password to open cannot be merged until the password is removed. Pages of files that open without a password but are locked against editing are added as images, and their text cannot be selected.
Does it work on a phone?
