    Is converting WEBP to PNG free?

    Yes, completely free. No account, no daily limit, no watermark and no queue.

    Does converting to PNG improve quality?

    No. PNG keeps the current picture exactly but cannot restore detail lost when the WEBP was saved. The benefit is that further edits will not degrade it any more.

    Are animated images converted too?

    Only the first frame is converted to PNG. To keep the animation, convert to MP4 or WEBM.

    Does it work on a phone?

    Is there a file size limit?
