Bring images to the size you need
An application form wants a photo 600 pixels wide, a shop wants square product images at 1000 pixels, the holiday photos for an email are far bigger than needed: the answer to each is resizing. Here you can resize a single image or a whole folder in one go.
Working in percent shrinks or enlarges every image by the same amount; 50% halves each side. Working in pixels, you type the width and height; with the aspect ratio kept, each image is fitted into those dimensions with its own proportions, and with the lock off it is brought to exactly the size you typed.
Shrinking happens in steps, so fine detail is kept and edges do not turn jagged. Save the results in the same format or as JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO or SVG; several images download together as one ZIP file.

How do I resize an image?

How do I shrink an image without distorting it?
Leave Keep aspect ratio on, so the image does not stretch. Shrinking happens in steps, so thin lines and text stay clean.
I need a smaller file size (KB)
Fewer pixels also make a smaller file. If you must get under a set number of KB, use the target size option of the image compressor.
What does the ratio lock do?
When on, the image is fitted into the width and height you type with its own proportions, so it never stretches. When off, it is brought to exactly those dimensions and may stretch if the proportions differ.
Can I open iPhone photos (HEIC)?
Yes. HEIC photos open directly, and you can save the result as JPG, PNG, WebP or any other image format.
